Automatic Writing
Much of what I've read and heard about automatic writing suggests that it's a useful and potentially wonderful tool for communicating with spirit, that can produce writing mostly or totally uninfluenced by the person doing it.
I agree with this but what I'd like to
highlight here is that many people attempt this without sufficient
safeguards and with little awareness of who they are communicating with.
What can really cause problems is that automatic writing means you willingly
giving spirit a degree of actual control over you physically to produce the
writing, which also means you inviting them within whatever protection you
might have had to keep them at arms length.
Furthermore, by using your free will to do this it means that your guides
have to accept your choice and allow you to do what you wish, irrespective
of whoever it is that wishes to make a close link with you, good or bad.
It's this close link that means a
troublesome earthbound spirit can then make themselves very much at home
with you, and begin to give way too much inappropriate input (as in a
bogus guide) or choose to
make your life very difficult.
It can be hard enough to get rid of earthbound spirits as
attachments but where you've
willingly chosen to make a close link with them it can be even harder to
remove them.
There are many instances of people doing automatic writing who have been introduced to their guides this way, unfortunately it's often not their guides at all but an opportunistic impostor looking to make their own existence more interesting, frequently at the expense of the writer. When finally exposed you can often see a whole different side to their nature, which can be quite unpleasant.
Automatic writing can be little different to using a Ouija board unless you have the discernment to sense the true nature of whoever is communicating, it's a bit like an internet chat room in that can you really tell who is behind whatever is being said? you might well like what is being said but it might also hide an unpleasant deception.
I don't recommend anyone use this means of communicating unless they have the experience and control to recognise the nature of who they are in contact with and can shut out the troublemakers who very much enjoy the opportunity this presents for mischief.
