Nosbor's XP Calculator
Updated (25/10/05) Version 1.3.5 - Accuracy improved and now seems perfect. Application can be minimised.
Nosbor is a clever sort of a chap who has come up with this handy little program to calculate the XP needed for your desired advances.
Yes, it has been done before, but only in web based applications. Personally I don't see why I should have to wait while some lagging website decides to load and then navigate to the correct section just to calculate a simple answer. Also, some of those websites don't work with Firefox which just isn't right. That's where Nosbor's calculator comes in.
The program is very small. It needs no installation, you just download it and run it. It is simple and fast.
You can choose to calculate the cost of advancing primaries in your guild or the cost of teaching yourself skills. It even has a running total feature for when you want to advance more than one thing at once. It does seem to have slight innacuracies when calculating the monetary cost of primary advancement but always gets the XP cost exactly right from what I've seen.
Here are the download options:
- Download the executable file
- Download a zipped version (to avoid security software blocking the download)
I really like this program and I use it myself. Hopefully you will like it too.
