Speed Walk Aliases

The idea of a speed walk alias is to easilly let you travel from one place to another with one command. This saves you from having to enter a whole string of movement commands. Note that if anything occurs on the way you will not be able to stop walking to react unless you enter the stop command, which will clear your action queue. There is no command to resume your speedwalk once you have stopped.

It is vital to ensure that you are in exactly the right room when you are about to use a speedwalk alias. If you are not in the exact place that it is intended to be used then you can easilly die as you walk into somewhere nasty. Use these aliases with the utmost care.

Ankh-Morpork Locations

This is a list of the start/end points of the speedwalks for Ankh-Morpork. Ensure that you are in the correct position before using an alias.

• Assassins' Guild - ag - This location is just inside the gates of the Ankh-Morpork Assassins' Guild.
• Bing's Bank - bb - This is inside the Bing's Bank branch on Upper Broadway.
• Family Room - fr - The family room in the Patrician's Palace.
• Gapp's Altar - ga - The room in Gapp's temple that contains the High Altar (not the Low one!).
• Hubwards Gate - hg -The Hubwards Gate location. Usually has a city guard and an urchin in it.
• Money Changer - mc - Inside the money changer shop on the Street of Bookkeepers.
• Old Shop - os - Inside the old shop on Vagabond Street.
• Philosopher's Society - ps - The area right outside the main door. Where Maximiliam Dimlith stands.
• Pishe's Pool - pp - The pool room where new lives can be obtained.
• Unseen University -uu - Just outside the main gates of the University.

• Book Room - b - The private Office of Inhumation, where assassins go to view the book.
• Forge - f - The forge within the Guild.
• Gate - g- Just inside the main gates. Same location as ag on the AM speedwalks.
• Graduate Lounge - l - The Graduate Lounge used by graduated assassins for advancement.
• Music Room - m - The Modern Language and Music classroom of the Assassins' Guild.
