Assassins - The Ankh-Morpork Assassins' Charter
Introduction
This online version of the Ankh-Morpork Assassins' Guild Charter is endorsed by our Guild Master, Grissom. It should be considered the official online version and will be kept up to date to the best of my ability. The in-game version of the charter should always be taken as correct if it differs from this version, but hopefully they should be the same.

The Charter
All students and graduates of this guild are expected to follow both the letter and the spirit of the rules outlined below. Members of this guild are reminded that we are both a place of business and one of the finest teaching establishments on the Disc.
Definitions
- "Members" refers to both students and graduates, players and NPCs, of the Conlegium Sicariorum. [Clarify]
- "Patron" refers to whoever purchases a contract on another person. [Clarify]
- "Client" refers to the recipient of a contract of any description. [Clarify]
- "Contract" refers to any contract placed at the Ankh-Morpork guild, or at any of its outlying branches. Contracts placed in other guilds are not regulated by this charter. [Clarify]
Policies
- Mano Rossa, Hashishim and Ninja are expected to abide by rules 1 and 2 at all relevant times. Rule 4 applies to anyone on guild property. [Clarify]
- Punishments include, but are not limited to: reprimands (spoken or written), sanctions and disavowal of individual members. Extreme or repeated breaches of the rules by members of other guilds may result in loss of access to some, or all of our facilities for their entire guild. [Clarify]
- Persons judged to be targeting members disproportionately, or targeting them because they closed (or attempted to close) a contract will be handled with extreme prejudice. [Clarify]
- Persons judged to have become members of this guild with the intention of harassing, or breaking any of the rules contained within this document will be removed from the guild without appeal. [Clarify]
Rules
1. Contract Details:
- 1a. Clients may not be intentionally informed of the fact they are currently contracted. [Clarify]
- 1b. Any individual not able to view a specific contract may not be informed about any details relating to said contract. [Clarify]
2. Arrangements:
- 2a. You are never to arrange any details of a contract. [Clarify]
- 2b. This includes, but is not limited to: time, location or preferential treatment. [Clarify]
- 2c. Arrangements with a patron to return some, or all of the contract fee after the client has been inhumed are also forbidden. [Clarify]
- 2d. Any attempts to arrange a contract should be reported to Guild administration, who will then advise you. [Clarify]
3. Interaction With Fellow Members:
- 3a. Do not interfere with another Member's operations against their will. This includes killing or stealing from guild members, whether living or dead. [Clarify]
- 3b. Inhuming and defending yourself from an aggressive attack are exemptions to point 3a above. [Clarify]
4. Guild Premises:
- 4a. Unprovoked attacks on anyone currently on our property will be punished, as will any other actions deemed unacceptable by Guild administration. [Clarify]
- 4b. Anyone abusing the protective features of guild grounds to avoid the consequences of their actions may face disciplinary action. [Clarify]
- 4c. Poison labs are for the use of members and the invited guests of the guild only. All other persons should consider these areas off-limits. [Clarify]
- 4d. Poisons or explosives produced by a member of the guild, or produced in our laboratories or our shops are not to be sold to, traded with, or otherwise given to anyone not a member of this guild. [Clarify]
- 4e. Currently invited guests are: All Mano Rossa, all Hashishim and all Ninja, unless individual permission has been withdrawn. [Clarify]
