The number seven is always significant to me. I was born in Singapore, in 1950, at seven minutes to seven, and my sister died on the seventh of July. If someone hands me, say, a raffle ticket with No. 7, I usually win and yet if I pick No.7 myself, I usually lose ! Spookily, I also invariably get Table 7 in restaurants.
