Welcome to my web site. |
Like so many of it’s type it’s been created to reflect my interests and hobbies and is totally self indulgent. It also establishes a web presence for the RAF Waddington Pipe Band. |

Based in the ancient City of Lincoln in England my roots are firmly in Scotland. My paternal forebears are from the Ruthven then Leysmill areas and more lately the City of Dundee in Angus, Scotland. My maternal side is from South Africa, my mother being from the famous Cronje family |

My father was with the Royal Air Force all his working life and as a child (along with my two sisters) I was dragged round the world and it is only by the accident of getting to that leaving home age whilst my father was based in Lincolnshire that has seen me make my home here in Lincoln. |
My primary leisure activity is music. I enjoy listening to many kinds and styles of music from opera to folk it is however Piping, the Great Highland Bagpipe which is my major leisure and social activity. Piping has been in the family for many years, the picture alongside being of my Great Uncle Willie. |
