22 August 2009 - The end of a dream? Ive finally admitted that with my current circumstances, this isnt going to get finished to how I want it, so everything and anything related to the last 7 years will be up for sale. Its time to take stock, learn a lesson and get the house back in order. Ive learnt a hell of a lot, going from rover to bbc to sbc, carb to injection, nitrous to turbo, made some great friends, pissed people off, laughed, cried and everything in between! Im still going to be around at the track....just not wondering how im going to attempt to finance my next purchase...credit cards are NOT the answer!!.
Have fun out there people....I take my hat off to anyone who can afford to run one of these :-)
05 December 2008 - wow cant believe its been this long since an update!! Nothing to report on the car front :-( Engine wise im now NOT going BBC, but have decided on a 383 with fuel injection and an ickle turbo (I may be telling porkies about the size!!).
In other news Ive decided to start DJ'ing again, something I gave up after putting myself in hospital way back in 2000. 05 January 2008- Happy New Year to everyone (who gets this far anyway). Yes im still alive and kicking, project is still on track (though im not sure whose!!) and im ever so slowly gathering parts that I sold a couple of years back. Otherwise not much to report although I have a good feeling about this year....I think more updates will be in order...possibly!!
08 May 2007- Yet another of my half yearly updates, not much to report......yet!! Ive moved the pre 2007 news section to 'old news' in preparation for regular news updates, yes the car is finally coming home and its then all down to me!! Now to remember how to Mig / Tig and do composite work :-)
08 January 2007 - Blimey doesn't time fly when your having fun!l. New Year and a new start - hopefully, well it cant get any worse than last year, unfortunately my health is still giving me grief. News on the car front, just to quash any rumours (probably caused by my lack of updates!) yes I still have the car, a box and an engine (all to be revealed when I have my sticky mitts on it). Im due in for a seat and steering wheel fitting, then the car & engine are back up here - now to start panicking making space and selling off the E30 projects Ive been playing with.
