There is no politician, businessman, or judicial system; there is no doctor, psychologist or spiritual guru who has the power to change the motives of the human heart. Jesus Christ came into the world for this very reason, which means that in a very real way the future of the world rests in the hands of the local Church.

We believe that Gods instrument for community transformation is the local Church, which is His body made up of individual Christians uniting together around a God inspired common vision. For this God has given to the body different gifts through the work of the Holy Spirit to equip the Church for its purpose, gifts that are worked by faith through people to serve one another and a wider community.

It is the aim of the Beacon Christian Centre to encourage an atmosphere of love, acceptance and support in the family of God; whilst aiming to disciple people in their own development towards wholeness and security in God and into their own unique gifting where they can find fulfilment in the calling that God has for them.
