Yearsley Distribution in England & Wales

Historically, Yearsleys were to be found in two main locations.  The largest concentration was spread over Lancashire, Cheshire and Staffordshire centred around Northwich, Cheshire.  The others were concentrated around the Forest of Dean and Bristol in Gloucestershire.
