Pidgeons of Chorlton, Manchester

Chorlton is the registration district of Chorlton-upon-Medlock (just S of Manchester city centre), and should not be confused with Chorlton-cum-Hardy (which is further to the SW).  It includes Hulme.

Barton is the registration district of Barton-on-Irwell (to the E of Manchester), and includes Stretford.


Henry Pidgeon of Basford, Nottingham and Mary Bent of Billesdon, Leicestershire married at Leicester, but settled in Manchester.
