This fine and upstanding gentleman that you see before you managed
to spend a year in Braintree Essex doing an art foundation course,
and survived. He was studying at Demontfort university for a Ba(hons)
in product design, unfortunately he didn't enjoy the course and
is looking for a job in London before he starts another course
in september 2002. He uses a Pentax K1000 manual SLR with a 50mm
lens.

I stood on the footbridge of the station, looking the other way
at a train that had just left. When I turned around I thought
the tracks despairing into the distance looked pretty cool. When
I developed the film I thought the shadows and clouds complemented
this.
I took several snaps of this little engine sitting there. I just
liked this one the best.
After reading an article on the difficulties of photographing
snowy conditions, I had a go myself. I really like the black white
contrast, something that I don't think colour could achieve.
I like ripples in water and rain. So I took this picture in a downpour
outside my house.
Taken while drunk (along with a whole roll) this was the funniest.
Just some guy lying in a doorway. I decided not to take a picture
of him on his own as I feel it would be exploiting him. Then this
amazing guy in the hat turned up.
She came up to me when I was outside Euston station asking for
change. I said that I would give her some money if I could take
her photo... she agreed! She looked so different to EVERYONE around
her.
Everyone wrapped up in their own little world - reading, sleeping
staring at the passing tunnel looking at the floor - but one always
looks at you.
Sorry, just had to.
She stood all alone, waiting for someone, or having waved someone
off. I didn't know.
A follow up photo for one that went wrong... Fook it, I like it,
so what.
Dunno why I did these, thought it would look cool... make your
own mind up.
