Unforgettable CD from Larry Green
The September 2004 release from Larry contains 20 tracks, most being a combination of two or more tunes.
Jives seem to be getting slower, now reaching 34 bars per minute. I grant that the prescribed 44 bpm is way too fast for the typical sequence dancer, but at 34 we are in danger of losing what spring the dancers may still have in their steps.
I was disappointed with the Cha Chas. For me, Halfway To Paradise is a natural Tango and it still has that feel on this track.
Like David Last's new CD Always, this CD is dedicated to the 60th ISDCdance festival.
