-This is the excerpted section title from the HOMEOPATHIC REPERTORY: with the remedy abbreviations.

MIND; DELUSIONS, imaginations; HOME; away from, is : acon., aster., bell., Bry., calc., calc-p., cic., cimic., coff., germ., hyos., lach., lap-c-b., meli., merc., nux-v., op., par., plb., puls., rhus-t., valer., verat., vip.

These are the remedies that have been found useful for conditions where part of the patient's symptoms include the feeling that 'they are not at home' when in fact they are!

So what would a homeopath do with this information?

If a patient had said they 'wanted to go home' when that's where they already were: this is a symptom that could be combined with other symptoms to differentiate which remedies were common to all or most of their symptoms; i.e. which one might be homeopathic.

For example if in addition to the symptom above, the patient:

- had a cough, liked to drink plenty, was < from moving (> staying still) then Bry. (Bryonia) would be the choice

- had a sore throat, < left side or started left side and moved to right, disliked tight clothing the Lach. (Lachesis) would be the choice

- had the 'flu, with violent shivering at the least uncovering and felt nauseous then Nux-v (Nux-vomica) would be the choice

Thus remedies are chosen, based on the grouping of symptoms not on the name of the disease (diagnosis)

These choices are made from knowledge of materia Medica and ability to repertorise
