Although it is just now light of day
And from her mouth and tongue, come
Unintelligible garbled sounds.
Black blood at every orifice
One arm (or leg) useless with paralysis
Black vomiting and bloody stools
Shivers little, sweats profuse
Bones bare from gangrene and necrosis
It's death without Bothrops Lanceolatus
