When the parish clergy moved to live in the present presbytery,
a school began to use their former house, "Greenholme" (now Billingham
Catholic Club) on Wolviston Road. The present school opened on
30th January 1961 with a proposed roll of 280. Since the number of
parish children exceeded 400, some continued at St John's. Bishop
Cunningham blessed the school on May 8th. It continues to be a lively
and developing community.

| St.Paul's R.C. Primary School |
|
80 pupils transferred from Holy Rosary School and this second parish
school opened in Easter 1969. Almost immediately extensions (two extra
classrooms, a hall and resource areas) were required which were finished
by 1974. It too is a flourishing and successful community.

| St.Michael's R.C. Secondary School |
|
This secondary school serves the three Billingham parishes and St Joseph's
in Norton. In it's 35 years history, it has grown and developed into a highly
successful school with excellent academic results and outstandingly good
pastoral care for each individual pupil in a strong community.
