The Chessington Hoard
The four coins shown opposite were discovered over a two month period in early 1998. They are from the late Iron Age c. 150 BC - 80 BC. Two further coins, both quarter Staters have also now been recovered. All the coins were declared Treasure under the new Treasure Act and were purchased by the Royal Borough of Kingston On Thames.
