The interface is very easy to use, just select the device that contains the images that need to be recovered and specify the folder to save the images to. Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery works with images that have been deleted or formatted by the camera. Supported formats are TIFF, Exif, JPEG and GIF. We tested it successfully with a freshly camera formatted 1GB Flash card and were able to recover all images.

DoubleKiller searches single or multiple folders/partitions for identical files. Depending on the settings the files' names, sizes, dates and/or CRC32-checksums (which represent the content of the files) are compared with each other. Masks like *.mp*g or *.dll define which files are (not) scanned. Files with certain flags, e.g. hidden files, may be excluded from the search. Besides you can limit the search to files with a user-defined filesize. When the search is finished a list containing all duplicate files found is displayed and you can select the files which should be deleted or moved.

When you run MakeMeAdmin.cmd, you get a Command Prompt running under your normal user account, but in a new logon session in which it is a member of the Administrators group. This Command Prompt and any programs started from it use your regular profile, authenticate as you on the network, but have full local admin privileges. All other programs continue to run with your regular, unprivileged account.
