Saturday 7 November - Fireworks Extravaganza
The College playing fields will be the venue for Histon and Impington’s annual fireworks extravaganza. Run jointly with the Infant and Junior schools, this is the fireworks display for all the family. As in previous years there will be a hog roast, barbecue and refreshments for you to enjoy before the show. Gates open at 6pm and the display starts at 7pm.

Adult: £3.00 Adult: £4.00

Children/under 18: £1.00 Children/under 18: £1.00

Family (2 adults + children): £6.00 Family: £8.00

Advance tickets will be available from the three schools and local shops during October.

Friday 20 November 2009 – Quiznight, the GCSE Challenge

This is your chance to prove that you are smarter than your kids, as the questions will be based on the current GCSE syllabus. Teams can consist of up to eight people. Tickets cost £3.50 per person and will be available from the College during October. If you would like to reserve tickets or register a team in advance, send an email to ivc.friends@ntlworld.com Bring your own drinks and snacks. Question time starts at 7.30pm.

Saturday February 13 to Wednesday February 17 2010 - Art Exhibition

Our 49^th annual art exhibition will take place during the spring half-term. As in previous years, the exhibition will feature around 400 works by local artists in a wide variety of materials and styles. All the exhibits will be for sale at prices from £20 upwards.

At the Private View on Saturday the 13^th of February from 7.00 - 9.00 pm visitors will be able to view the exhibits in a relaxed atmosphere and meet some of the artists. Wine, snacks and a complimentary catalogue will be included in the £3 price of the ticket.

Entry will be free during the rest of the exhibition and the opening times will be:

Sunday 14 February: 2.30 - 6.00 pm

Monday 15 February: 2.00 - 4.00 pm and 7.00 - 9.00 pm

Tuesday 16 February 2.00 - 4.00 pm and 7.00 - 9.00 pm

Wednesday 17 February 2.00 - 4.00 pm

A chance to raise some cash from all that stuff that you found during the spring-clean and realised that you no longer need.

Pit your wits against the resident anoraks on topics as diverse as literature, pop music and sport, along with picture rounds on people and places. Tickets will be on sale in the Summer Term.
