June 14 2008 - Summer Ball

We are hosting a Grand Summer Ball on Saturday 14^th June. It promises to be the event of the year for the College and gives an opportunity for the wider community to come together for a ‘glitzy’ evening of fun and entertainment.

The College will be transformed for the evening to look more like The Ritz than a secondary school. The Gropius Hall, the Prom and the Carnegie Room will become a dance hall, restaurant and lounge bar. The sensational Cambridge-based ‘Eye Band’ will provide live music and there will be live piano music in the lounge bar for those who want a break from the dancing.

A buffet supper is included in the ticket price. Group discounts are offered so this is a great opportunity for friends to get together for a glamorous night out. Posh frocks and sharp suits are definitely in order and there’ll be an official photographer to capture the moment.
