Two thriving colonies of Wall lizards were reported to have been discovered on the Isle of Wight in around 1962. One of these colonies became the well-known Ventnor colony, the location of the other colony is unknown. In 1989 it was reported that there were still two thriving colonies in the Isle of Wight, one of these being the Ventnor colony.
Location and status of this colony is completely unknown - any information will be gratefully received.
