Jesus falls the second time
We adore you oh Christ and we bless you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Reflection
The suffering Jesus went through must have been awful, the
way He was under the weight of the cross. The pain He felt after he stood up,
all the people he saw, worst of all, the Roman soldiers. The thorns pushing
down on His forehead, His nose splitting open, the pain He went through to save
us.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, You suffered so much for us. You fell once and
You had already suffered a lot, but then You fell for the second time. You were
wounded and humiliated. Help us to realise that people all over the world are
suffering and that we don’t suffer as much. Amen
