Jesus rose from the dead
We adore you oh Christ and we bless you.
because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Reflection
At this point the people of Jerusalem must have felt
shocked. Somehow ashamed at what they had done to God’s Son. Jesus himself must
have felt sorry for the people of Jerusalem. How confused they were. They
didn’t know what they had done to him.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, help us to turn back to you and help us try not
to face away from you again. We thank you for staying with us and being there
when we need you most. Amen.
Conclusion
Jesus, you have suffered, died and risen from the dead so we
may live forever. We pray that you will forgive us for all your sins. We pray that
we try not to harm others. We ask our Father in heaven to be with us as we
pray,
“Our Father, who art in heaven………………………..”
