Jesus is placed in the tomb
We adore you oh Christ and we bless you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Reflection
Mary the mother of Jesus must have felt heartbroken. All of
Jesus’ apostles must have thought everything that they lived for (To worship
Jesus) was for nothing. But they were wrong. Jesus died on a cross for us, for
our sins. Everybody who had been cured by him must have thought that it was the
biggest catastrophe of all time. But there was a reason for Jesus’ death.
Prayer
Dear God, please help all the people who had Jesus crucified
and watched him die on the cross. Please help us to remember that Jesus died
for all of us.
