The youth cafe & prayer room at the Faith Festival

During 2008, Services have been held in council flats and rest homes during Easter, Pentecost, Harvest and Christmas.
We have also been to the Kershaw Centre on these occasions.
Monthly services have been held at Cams Ridge Nursing Home at their request.
The Mayor and Mayoress were able to attend some of these services during 2008.
Staff and people from different churches
have taken part in these services.

Bringing together lonely, elderly or infirm people with a regular visitor who will befriend them. Operating only in Fareham Town, we receive referrals (with permission) from Ministers, Church members, health professionals, social services and other caring and observant people.
If you know someone in Fareham who is in need and who would like a fortnightly visitor, please ring 01329 287384.
Our volunteers almost all come from 'Churches Together in Fareham' .
Thanks to the active support of our churches we are able to demonstrate Christian Action by befriending the elderly and infirm. Currently we have 60 volunteers.
All receive training before beginning to visit. Regular briefings keep volunteers
up-
As more lonely people are referred to us, we need more volunteers to bridge the loneliness gap. Can you spend an hour each fortnight to befriend someone?
