Helen Terentjev originally qualified as a Medical Doctor (Paediatrics) in 1983 in Moscow, Russia. Later she lived and worked in the US and then moved to the UK in 1992. Here she qualified as a General Osteopathic Practitioner from the London School of Osteopathy (LSO) and then obtained the Masters degree in Paediatric Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy (London) and the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy.
Helen has broad interests in the field, which include:
**Osteopathy for children, with 2 years of experience in the Children’s Clinic at LSO;
2 years in the clinic of the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy, and in neonatal wards
of Barnet and North Middlesex University Hospitals.
**Visceral Osteopathy - which she studied in particular with Jean-Pierre Barral,
RTP DO (France) and Caroline Stone, DO (Australia)
**Craniosacral osteopathy and somato-emotional disorders (including stress).
Helen specialised in this field after
studies with Lola Khodzhaeva, MD, DO (Russia), Jean-Pierre Barral, RTP, DO (France),
John Upledger, DO (US) and Rebecca Ridge, PhD, DO (US).
Helen is also a cetified specialist in acupuncture/dry needling, and a qualified Public Services interpreter, having obtained a DPSI (Law) qualification from Institute of Linguistics (London).
