Cranial osteopathy
Craniosacral work uses sensitive and exact finger pressure improving:
- position and motion of specific cranial bones
- cranial nerve pathways
- flow of cerebrospinal fluid
- brain temperature
Craniosacral techniques are effective because of the proximity of the reciprocal tension membranes (partitions inside the head) to respiratory, circulatory and locomotor centres of central nervous system. They have widespread effects on peripheral circulation, neurological function and general wellbeing.
