PowerGrip 2000 Hand Controllers
This is a new generation of transistor based, electronic hand controllers, now featuring solid state circuitry and heavy duty PCB for improved reliability and longevity. PG2000 comes ready wired with a 3 pin plug to suit BSCRA regulations, but it can also be supplied with full instructions, allowing it to be connected into a Scalextric or similar home track. The variable power control allows fine tuning of the controller response to suit any motor from home set to full raceway tune. The variable brake function can be adjusted to reduce the braking effect (on tracks with dynamic braking). This is a very useful facility with the more powerful motors, allowing the car to freewheel into corners without the destabilising effect of fierce deceleration found with high power magnets. The plunger pressure is simply adjusted with a hexagon wrench, without the need to strip the controller.
