1991 Mazda 787B The only rotary engined winner in Le Mans history driven to victory by Herbert, Weidler and Gachot. Actual capacity of the engine was 2.6litres which is equivalent to a four stroke unit of 4.7litres. Which means the 700+ horsepower it produced was very impressive and begs the question why rotary engines aren't more common. Shell is from the Betta/Classic range.
