The Madagascar Project
After just over a year and one international trip it has been decided that The Madagascar Project (TMP) is more than just a flash in the pan. Therefore, to formalise our relationship with Hertford Community Church (HCC) as our umbrella or parent organization and the charity through which all our donations are processed, we have established Terms of Reference (ToR) & a membership of 12 people. These ToR basically help to make sure TMP is always accountable for how we spend money and how we get money. Also it helps us to stay focused and operate under HCC policies and vision. TMP never wants to stray from our specific mission statement or vision and establishing legal ToR will help us do this. There is complete transparency between TMP's bank account & finances and HCC board of trustees.
