Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm).

The pages within are dedicated to Hamsters which is one of my on going hobbies
and I hope you enjoy it. I do hope to become more involved in the breeding and keeping of Winterwhite dwarfs, time permitting.
Currently, I have just qualified as a (other species judge, meaning dwarfs) with the "northern hamster club",under
In time I will add a page on my training and tips on how I exhibit dwarfs!
My hamstery goes under the prefix of Harthams
.At the moment I attend nhc shows but hope to attend more time permitting.
In 1998,I began keeping Russian Dwarf-Hamsters. I started out with two (cricetulus Griseus) Chinese Hamsters.
At first, I knew the basic fundamental ways to keep a Dwarf-Hamster and nothing more,
but my fascination for these lovely animals soon grew
when I was given another two Russian Dwarf-Hamster Campbell's as a gift.
Eventually, my Hamstery began to grow and then so did the need for knowledge, with so many different illnesses about.
At present I keep 25+Winterwhite dwarf hamsters, most of which I have bred myself.
The contents within this site are about the care and welfare of Russian Dwarf-Hamsters,
and are designed to help you to care for your Hamster.
From time to time friends, family and others ask me certain questions about hamsters
and many people are basically not aware of how to keep a hamster,
bearing this in mind I do hope this will help any hamster lover in starting out with hamstering.
Please feel free to send any comments about these pages you may have!
