** Mondo manga multimedia! **
| HBOM comx was founded
in 1989 as the imprint for the comics I was to create after I left school.
Around this time I had started to lose interest in my long-running schooldays
impro-comic FiASCO!... and decided on several spin-offs and original
series, complete with *gasp* pre-plotting, pre-pencilling and A3
originals!! What a concept. I was also about to slowly phase manga into
my Marvel Zombie lifestyle.... although I managed to refuse any significant
manga influences until Sokitume Baby in 1992. (What If... I had
refused them completely?? I'm dying to know....)
The HBOM title reflects my minor obsession with the letter H... (even before I knew what it meant in Japanese ^o^) and signified that everything from plot to printing would be done by H3. |
