The neck is maple and the fretboard is rosewood. The neck has 22 frets with pearl dot inlays and a stratocaster style headstock which has 6 chrome vintage-type machine heads and 2 chrome string trees. I have customised the headstock by spraying it the same colour as the body, and adding a white single ply headstock cover, as you can see from the pictures, giving it a very retro look.
The body is made from agathis or basswood and it is pretty heavy. It has a white 3 ply scratchplate, and I have added my own design scratchplate to the top horn of the guitar. It has 3 pickups, the bridge pickup is a 9.7k chrome humbucker with chrome surround, the mid and the neck pickups are standard 7.5k pickups. It has a standard synchronised tremelo system on it which is very responsive and easy to use. It has 3 control knobs, one volume and 2 tone and a 5 way selector switch.
The action is very low making the guitar sound superb, and it is also very playable! The combination of the headstock cover and my own style scratchplate formation gives it a very unique and retro look.
