REUNION – 7 NOVEMBER 2009

I am pleased to invite you to this year’s Annual Reunion to be held at Tapton Masonic Hall, Shore Lane, off Fulwood Road, Sheffield on Saturday 7 November 2009 from noon to 4 pm.  The cost is £14.50 per head for a finger buffet.  The charge includes a small amount for postage and administration costs.

Please complete the form below and sent it with your cheque, payable to me, as soon as possible.  Regrettably, unless the money is sent at the same time of booking, a place cannot be reserved.  Final numbers need to be given to the caterers 3 days before the event, so it would be helpful if you would send me your reservation early.  Please note tickets are not issued, so once you have sent your money, just turn up at the Masonic Hall.  The form also has a place for you make note of a particular memory of Marlcliffe which will be shared at the reunion.  Photos and memorabilia are always appreciated and will be returned to you.

On the reverse of this letter are the names of people who attended in 2008.  Over the years many more Old Marlcliffians and staff, even some from overseas, have attended the reunions. It is always an enjoyable way to keep in touch, renew old friendships and share our memories of Marlcliffe.  As you can see, the 1950s and 1960s are looking a little thin on the ground, if you were there at this time, please pass on details of our 2009 reunion to old school friends and bring along some new recruits.
