Early Data Index (mainly 1550-1650)

This section is included for anyone researching BYARD family data. It is taken from LDS computer files, which in turn was taken from parish registers covering the whole of England and is classified under any locality where there was parish register evidence of BYARDs living in the region. To see the data for a particular region simply click on the name of the region. Remember that not all BYARD data for this time period is held, only that which has been recorded by the LDS. It was known for example that there were BYARDs living near Doncaster during this time and that one family had 21 children!

Some of the data extends beyond the 1650 cut-off, particularly for the Alderwasley, Ashleyhay and Wirksworth areas.

Also included below, are links to other BYARD data for the Wirksworth area. Wherever possible this data has been included in the main family tree section.

The field headings for the records are self explanatory with b/c/m referring to burial/christening/marriage for the second field.

Remember that this is 'raw' data as extracted from LDS files. It has not been verified by checking with parish registers.
