William Hamilton
City Garden Chelsea 2002
Hortasia

William's first-ever design submission for the Chelsea Flower Show was accepted by the Royal Horticultural Society and is shown in the BBC's coverage of the City Garden: this year's theme at the show. There is a photo of the finished garden is on the BBC Web Site, where there is also a description.

The three pictures on the right show how the site looked before work started (Saturday 11th) and during the final stages of construction on Sunday 19th (with a couple of his team).

You can see that William's arm is in a sling: during the week (not while building the garden) he dislocated his arm and was hospitalised. He still managed to get the garden to the planned state.
