Sanyo VCR7250

American NTSC Beta hi-fi / SuperBeta machine. Looks very nice, but sadly mine does not work. Somebody brought it to England and connected it to 240 volt electricity. It was designed for 120 volts only and it burned out. Oh dear. At least the remote control still works on the Sears. (N.B. I do not actually have the manual for this machine; I borrowed the picture from somewhere else on the Internet).

Sears Betavision 30204

Actually the picture is of the Sanyo VCR4650 but the Sears model is basically the same, except it is called BETAVISION instead of BETACORD. Unfortunately my machine needs a new capstan motor (I think) because the tape plays too slowly. Maybe someday I'll be able to obtain the parts to resurrect it.
