Megajolt upgrade was the only real early upgrade. It has improved drivability
of the car no end - a recommended buy! The pictures tell the story -presently running on a default map, which I've tweaked a bit over a few weeks trial and error. The Megajolt system was later successfully transferred to the XE engine |

Megajolt unit -I bought this pre-built - installed here on the windscreen pillar nuts under the dash . Wire for second map still awaiting connection! Getting the software to work was a pain due to driver problems with RS232 to USB converter leads; now happily sorted with version 3.1.1 software for the Megajolt site . | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| One of the great features of Megajolt is you get a free "shift light"- ok at least the outputs to drive a lamp. I used a cheap LED torch from Ebay. I've changed two of the LEDs for a red and a green lamp - so I get green, red, white to indicate the shift. I've also wired one output, inverted to the red LED. This lights when I turn the ignition on, then goes off when the car starts - it gives a comfort factor that the MJ is working | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Performance with MJ is much improved -the part throttle advance I can now get has reduced spitting and the car generally runs smoother and picks up better | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
