News 11th September 2003 move along, nothing to see here. 29th June 2003 I'd like to give you some news, but I can't think of much other than the fact that all has been quiet on the Mellow Gold front recently, but don't worry for the fun and frolics shall return soon. 8th June 2003 Mellow Gold surprised everyone by playing a gig, not at The Regency but at the The Honest Lawyer. They premiered a new song, which can only be described as El Presidenté. 28th May 2003 Mellow Gold played themselves a bit of a gig at The Honest Lawyer last Saturday night, and what a pleasant and enjoyable affair it was. In other news, I am very sorry for the lack of updates recently, as punishment to myself I am practicing methods used by medieval pilgrims to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. 11th May 2003 This week, Mellow Gold went into the studio to record for their debut EP, which is coming soon. Also a gig played at Jack's Bar last night. 25th April 2003 Mellow Gold were in the Mellow Gold Mobile (a "W" reg Nissan Micra) and made a detour through a farmer's fence, no one was hurt. 12th April 2003 Mellow Gold came 4th in the battle of the bands. Message board added to the site. 5th April 2003 Mellow Gold came first in Battle of the Bands semi-final and are through to the final on Friday 11th April at Harrogate Arms. 24th March 2003 Change of date for Next round of BOTB- now 4th April NOT 28th March. 19th March 2003 Wow, Mellow Gold got through to the next round of battle of the bands. 14th March 2003 A gig played at The Lounge last night. 12th March 2003 Images section added to the site. 2nd March 2003 2 gigs played this weekend, read about them in the gigs section. 27th February 2003 Images section coming soon to the site, and two new songs added to the lyrics section. 14th February 2003 Mellow Gold played another gig at the Regency tonight, to read about it go to the gigs section, or click here. 19th January 2003 Future gigs have been announced, for info go to the gigs section. 4th January 2003 Mellow Gold played their first gig tonight with a full band, at the Regency in Harrogate. 2nd January 2003 Set list for the gig at The Regency has been leaked, to view the set list go to the gigs section. 10th December 2002 Rumours of a gig to be played on 4th January 2003, at The Regency, have been confirmed by the band.
