Welcome to our managers page, as you'll notice he's been around the block.
Steve Perks A Team Manager
Steve was born a Gordie (if you can count Middlesbrough as true Gordie), as you can imagine
he's a Boro fan and but loves a certain Brazilian called Janinio (we've all got our hang-ups).
As a kid he was a star with the Middlesborouh youth team but was unfortunately released.
He then went on to play non league in his native norht east.
His next conquest was to play in Saudi Arabia, as work took him there, and then he ventured
to France to play semi-pro.
After retirement his new challenge was to become a referee. He qualified in 1997 and
completed two seasons at class 3 level and has been promoted to class 2 for the this season
2001-2002). Steve has also passed his theory exam for class 1 and is waiting for his assessment
marks (watch this space). As of 30.05.2002 Steve is now a class 1 referee. Congratulations
