"In 1994 Maya Gold was the first ever product to be awarded the Fairtrade Mark by the Fairtrade foundation. It is made with organically grown cocoa bourght direct from Mayan farmers in southern Belize. Traditionally the Mayans flavoured their cocoa with spices, we recapture this by blending rich dark chocolate with a refreshing twist of orange that is perfectly balanced by the warmth of cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of vanilla."
