The 5 acre ground set against a backdrop of rural Leicestershire's landscape is an idyllic location to play or watch cricket.  Having been a cricket ground for half a century, the wicket and outfield are both of an excellent standard.

The ground plays host to senior and junior cricket during the summer and 2 full size grass hockey pitches in the winter. in addition, the ground plays host to a hockey festival every summer which attracts numerous teams from around the country.
