Chimera from the 12th centuryTournai font

This animal is badly damaged possibly by chisels from Cromwell's troops in the civil war who took exception to graven images in the cathedral.

I'm not too sure as to the beasts name so I blandly called it chimera, the medieval word for a monstrous creature made of the parts of multiple animals.

The print is 15cm x 11cm. It has two colours in the reduction method and the edition of 10 uses various papers. The block is cherry wood and printed with Lawrence's linseed oil inks.
