I visit family and friends every year in Northern Germany. The landscape is undulating with woodland, fresh water lakes and sandy beaches on the Ostsee (Baltic Sea). It is an environment for artists and was the inspiration for German Expressionists of the 20th century.
These twenty eight, A5 watercolour, sketches are a selection of very quick studies done over the past ten years that are the basis of my German paintings and prints.
