Wood block print of a Griffin from the 12th century font.

The font marks the start of the Christian's journey through life. The creatures around it are reminders about fighting evil, although I think that they all look friendly and rather naive.

The print is 18cm x 12cm. It has two colours in the reduction method and the edition of 10 uses various papers. The block is cherry wood and printed with Lawrence's linseed oil inks.

A griffin is a fictitious creature with an eagle's head and wings on the body of a lion.
