Victory is Ours!

The final whistle blew and history was made. Armagh had won their first ever All-Ireland Gaelic Football Championship. Against all the odds, the underdogs, who missed a penalty and were down by four points at half time won the match beating Kerry 1-12 to 0-14.

We had all read in the official programme, that due to safety regulations, fans were not allowed on the pitch after the match. This ruling had been successfully in effect for the past couple of years, but nothing was going to impede the 20,000 Armagh supporters. We flooded onto the pitch and celebrated our victory with Kieran McGeeny lifting the Sam Maguire cup.

See can you spot anyone you know or name the politicians and guess how much they paid for their tickets. Perhaps that Eire Og man should not let his girlfriend see these photographs. And the same goes for the young Clann Eirann man.
