The Traditional Pre-Match Activity

We took to our seats in the lower Hogan Stand, surrounded by a crowd of Derry supporters. Great people those Derry folk. We cheered their minor team and they cheered our senior team. The tensions did not appear to show as Armagh and Kerry lined up to meet President Mary McAleese, and then paraded in single file behind the Artane Boys band around Croke Park. The sights and sounds were magnificant. So much colour and cheer, it sent shivers down the spine of the few neutrals in the crowd.
