In My Corner

Alone I sit,
In my corner.
Watching, observing, learning.
Those around me,
Who know me (or think they do)
Do not stop to question why, but continue.
Their experiences become my experiences;
Their fear,
Their laughter, love and loneliness
Are mine to share, and benefit from.
Happy to gaze upon the lives of others,
I sit,
Alone,
In my corner.
