July 2007 –
Ringwood were expelled from STAR for violation of the written agreement
concerning rule changes to any of the STAR groups. Changes were made by
Ringwood to the EURORODS running at Ringwood, which made it impossible for
visiting STAR drivers to compete unless severe work was carried out and then
reversed to enable them to race at their home circuit. This defeated the
initial aim of the agreement between ALL circuits.
No construction changes can or should be
randomly made to any of the STAR groups, without discussion between all
concerned and then any changes should be notified to all racers in good time,
once they have been agreed. Preferably
any construction changes should be effective from the next racing season.
