A highly anticipated and well-received debut at Leicester's Charlotte was swiftly followed up with a series of gigs across their home town as SLH started to gain a small but loyal following. Early highlights included supporting The Dead Pets, Les Carter's Abdoujaparov and the Guns'n'Roses tribute Bad Obsession (now UK Guns'n'Roses.) The tongue-in-cheek video to She Likes It Kinky has become somewhat of a favourite amongst internet fans. It can be found in the pics section of the website. A series of line-up changes wasn't allowed to disrupt the band's progess and in October 2005 they would support Chris Jericho's Fozzy at The Charlotte. The band followed this up by playing a series of dates across the UK, including The Roadhouse in Manchester, Birmingham's Edwards No. 8 and of course, the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. 2006 was a transitional year for the band, with fatherhood, weddings and holidays slowing the momentum down for a short while. They returned in August, however, to play a stormer of a set at The Victoria in Coalville. With a debut album ready to be recorded in 2007, and plans to tour the UK and Scandinavia, SLH are ready to light up the live scene not just in their own country, but worldwide too. |
