Introduction
Steve Cuthew qualified from Liverpool University in 1979, opened Carlton House in 1983 and was awarded the further qualification of a Diploma in General Dental Practice in 1993.At Carlton House, we put you in control of your treatment plan, offering advice and information to make sure you are fully informed as to the best options for your circumstances.
Our aim is for everyone to have a healthy mouth. We try to prevent problems before they occur. Prevention is at the heart of everything we do, we'll help give you peace of mind as to your long-term oral health.
We make full use of digital cameras and x-rays so we can show you exactly what the problem is and where the treatment is to be done (or, if you prefer, just lie back and listen to some music!). Both downstairs surgeries have ceiling mounted TV’s for patients
We actually regard it as the greatest honour when our patient's fall asleep during treatment!
Nick More who qualified from Sheffield University in 2000, and worked at a practice in Manchester before joining us in January 2007. A former International Lacrosse player he will now care for Fiona’s former patients .
Fiona Holton qualified from Liverpool University in 1978 and joined Carlton House in 1990, retired from the practice on the 31st of December 2006.
At present we have two hygienists Bobby and Sarah.
The inside of the practice has been designed with you in mind. From the friendly open reception desks to the comfortable waiting area. For families we have a Lego table for the children and a play box of toys suitable for very small children.
Our individual surgeries meet the highest standard of hygiene and professional oral care. Our autoclaves that sterilize our instruments are placed in separate areas' outside the surgeries, for your safety and comfort. See:- How we care for you.
Carlton House has been designed to relax and reassure you throughout your treatment. With reception, seating area and two surgeries on the ground floor, access is easy for those with limited mobility.
