Acetate
release of two tracks from the Regent Label.
Someone To
Love starts with a very
snappy brass section and fine vocals from John. Tony's early composition
bemoans the way women seem only to want him for his money, a subject that
crops up in later compositions. Hallelujah
is a slower gospel blues track taking the theme of a mothers guiding words
There is a fine organ solo with the horns less prominent than the A side. Both tracks are available on The Herbal Mixture CD Please Leave My Mind |
